A new update for Left 4 Dead 2 came out of nowhere this week, and it gives us all sorts of things we didn’t even know we wanted. The update is scheduled to go live today, and the launch is coming with a free weekend according to the Left 4 Dead blog.
Here’s what the update includes:
- 20 new survival arenas
- Four new scavenge arenas
- A campaign based on the Lighthouse survival map
- New achievements
- New melee weapons
- New animations and dialog
- New competitive balance adjustments
